Shorts is a shared idea inspired by various social media events, radio programs, and podcasts where people from different walks of life meet to tell stories that tap into the collective human experience, to educate, delight and enlighten.

All over the world and throughout history, stories have been told and retold, as myths, legends, fairy tales, fables, and epic adventures. In the Philippines, from the alamat to the bugtong, the tales of our indigenous folk have been passed on, continuously evolving from generation to generation.

With our live open mic story-telling events, we hope to tap the new breed of Filipino babaylans and makatas – our modern storytellers.

We believe that this new and exciting social innovation of engagement will foster creativity, ingenuity, imagination, and inspiration within the community – promoting among us the spirit of inclusiveness.
