Rule #1 SHORTs-LISTING

If you want to tell your story and be Shorts-Listed, email us the title and a short description of your story (what’s it about) in entries@shorts.ph and we will email you back with instructions.

Rule #2 FOLLOW THE THEME

Each Shorts event has a specific theme that your stories have to follow.

Rule #3 KEEP IT SHORTs

Tell your story in 8 minutes. You will hear a short chime to signal that you only have one minute left.

Rule #4 KEEP IT REAL

Exercise artistic freedom but your story must be true and told in the first person perspective.

Rule #5 BE SPONTANEOUS

Tell tour story to a live audience via Zoom, with no notes or script.

Rule #6 SPEAK YOUR LANGUAGE

Tell your story in the language you are most comfortable with, that your audience will understand.

Rule #7 RESPECT YOUR LISTENERS

No discriminatory language, racial or gender slurs, rants, personal plugs or promotions.

Rule #8 LOVE THE STORIES

The Zoom chat will be open. Disrespectful, offensive, vulgar and rude comments are not allowed. Compliments, praises and questions to the storytellers are welcome.
